Now in open beta
The whole helpdesk. One flat price.
Email, chat, web forms, AI replies: one desk. Set it up in minutes. Everything is included, and the free plan ships with the same features as the paid ones.
Helpdesks got complicated. We cut the complexity out.
Paid plugins. AI credits billed per resolution. The feature you want locked behind a higher tier. That is the whole problem, and it is what miniDesk takes away.
Everywhere else, sold separately
On another helpdesk, each one means a decision, a quote, a renewal. Here, none of them does.
Included, always
One plan. All of it.
- All of the above, from day one, even on the free plan
- AI usage on a single visible quota
- One flat number, each month

Three steps, then it runs on its own.
Put it where your customers already are.
Paste one line of code for the chat widget. Or use a hosted form, your support address, or the API. No build step. No paid plugins. Two minutes from start to finish.
- Chat widgetA single script tag, adapted to your site's fonts and colours.
- Email and formsForward your support address or drop in a hosted form.
- APIKick off a conversation from your own app with one POST.
Feed it what you already have.
Upload documents. Paste notes. Every ticket your team closes by hand becomes another example it can learn from.
No tagging, no shaping required. A PDF, a pasted paragraph, and a thread your team closed last week are all the same thing to it: material to draw answers from.
Let it answer. Step in when it counts.
A customer writes in. Most replies go out in seconds, at 3am, in the language the customer used.
Its reads through your documents and past tickets as it goes, so a single reply burns a few thousand tokens instead of your whole library.
A human takes over when…
Nothing you wrote covers it. It stops, says nothing, and hands your team the thread along with a draft.
- Customer asksWhy does my invoice show two charges for March?
- It opens three thingsreading sourceswriting answerHelp centre3 extractsBilling doc1 of 38Past reply#4188
- It answersBoth charges are yours: the March invoice, plus the plan change on the 14th.
A REST API for your code, and an MCP server for your agents.
None of this is required to use miniDesk. But if you have a developer on the team, they will appreciate it. Everything in the product is reachable over HTTP and over MCP, so Claude, Cursor, or your own agent can triage the queue and close tickets without a dashboard.
- What are the biggest pain points my customers raised this month?Reads all 1,842 conversations and returns five themes, ranked by volume and by the time each one takes you.
- Draft replies for everything still waiting, then show me the queue.Writes a grounded draft for each open thread, pulling from the pages it read, and leaves them ready for you to send.
- Which docs page would remove the most tickets if I rewrote it?Cross-references failed answers with your content and names the page, along with the questions it keeps failing on.
Everything included, even on the free plan.
All four tools below can answer a ticket. All four charge for the AI on top of the plan price. We do not, on any plan, including the free one.

The same month, three real teams.
Each team is sized to one of our quotas, so the miniDesk figure is the actual price of that plan. Every rival is priced on the cheapest plan that fits the seats and includes an AI agent answering customers, billed annually.

Crisp remains closest, and its AI credits grow with every conversation. Ours are already paid for.
Each vendor's own published list prices, August 2026, in USD, on annual billing, on the cheapest plan that fits the seats and includes an AI agent. Intercom bills only when its AI resolves, so these assume it resolves half of them; Crisp and Freshchat bill for all of them, and Crisp is costed at the bottom of its own $0.05 to $0.10 band. Check their pricing pages before you decide.
One monthly subscription. A quota, not a meter.
Every plan contains the full product, starting with free. The only thing that moves as you scale is the number of conversations and seats. So the free tier is a genuine starting point, not a demo.

Tiers differ by quota and seats. The only extra on paid plans is removing our branding.
- AI answers customers on its own
- AI-drafted replies for your team
- Replies in the language the customer wrote in
- Chat widget, email and web forms
- Answers grounded in your own content
- Knowledge base from your files and past replies
- Shared inbox with customer history
- REST API and MCP server
Price, quota, and seats are per workspace. Two websites means two workspaces and two plans.
Enterprise
Above 12,000 conversations a month, or when procurement is involved. Custom quota and seats, an uptime SLA, SSO, data residency of your choice, and a named support engineer.
